We’ve been in business here in Rhinelander since July 2, 1972. That’s the day Jim Stoehr, after working for other jewelers for many years, purchased Hansen's Jewelry and opened his own Jewelry Stoehr.

Jim worked hard. He believed in giving You, the customer, a fair price, great service, and respect. He believed you should treat every customer the same, whether you spend $5 or $5,000.

Twelve years later Jim's son John and daughter Jayme graduated from the Jewelry Program at Northeastern Wisconsin Technical Institute in Green Bay. A second generation of Stoehr Jewelers was born.

In  2001, to better serve our customers, John Stoehr received his Diamond Grading Certificate from the Gemological Institute of America, the foremost authority of gemstones.

Jim Stoehr’s old fashioned values have not changed. They continue to guide our business today.
